We will be having a "Training Special" at the Germantown Wisconsin Police Department on June 25th and 26th, 2012.
Starting on June 25th, at 3pm: Ballistic Armor Course.
This course covers ballistic materials, history of armor, care for your vest, NIJ standards, testing, and time on the range to shoot sample material. Limited to about 25 people.
Cost is FREE.
On June 26th, at 8am-noon: Aircraft Accident Response and Investigation course for police/fire/EMS.
This course covers many facets of contact with aircraft of all sizes. We cover NTSB/FAA regulations rescue must follow, evidence, personal safety, hazards, and more. If your agency has no policy regarding aircraft, or you wish to learn more, this is the class for you. Limited to 40 people.
Cost: $70/person. If the same agency/municipality sends a third or more person, just $30 for those additional people.
At 1pm-5pm: Stinger Spike Instructor Course.
This is a factory authorized training course to "train the trainer" on the safe use, maintenance, and training of the Stinger Spike System. Limit of 25 officers.
Cost is FREE.

Current Training Courses Available Aircraft Accident Response and Investigation: 4 hours credit. Recommended for law enforcement, fire, and EMS. Rates vary depending on class size and location. Average cost is $100/person with a minimum class of 15-20 depending on location. For larger classes, or combined municipality training, we can arrange a flat-rate for your agency based on approximate class size, that is greatly discounted.

Baker Batshield Familiarization Course: 3 hours POST credit. Recommend live fire training.
Ballistic Armor and Demonstration Shoot: 2 hours POST credit. Learn what armor really is and does, along with the NIJ certification standards.
Sage Ordinance Familiarization Course: 4 hours POST credit. Ideal for new officers or SWAT members to become familiar with launchers and munitions. We also can do the course if your agency is interested in obtaining launchers for SWAT or patrol.

Otsego Law Enforcement Supply, LLC, is proud to provide a safe and effective tool for law enforcement when responding to an active shooter situation, such as schools or public places.
These shields provide level 3A protection, but yet weigh about 12 pounds.
For tactical use, they are a tool that officers will keep with them after performing an entry. Many officers will set down their conventional "bunker" shields in order to be able to move rapidly through the building they are searching.
The new Patrol Bat is slightly smaller, and is designed to be carried in the front seat of the squad, and be used for traffic stops, calls, or other high-risk situations.
One of the training courses we provide is Aircraft Accident Response and Investigation for law enforcement, fire, and EMS.
We have a 4 hour continuing education course that is approved by Minnesota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin peace officer licensing boards.
The course covers FAA/NTSB regulations, hazards on the scene, rescue, handling calls/DWI, and many other areas of aviation contact that most agencies to not address by either policy/guidelines or training.
